Implemented using Microsoft .NET & AJAX , OrionBPM is a highly scalable platform. It is a 100% web browser based environment where even designers work without any local or activeX components.
OrionBPM is architectured to hit the ground running with bleeding edge concepts like web services. It can participate in an SOA environment without any special configurations or customisation. Its process model supports BPMN symbols and can generate BPEL to be submitted to BPEL engine. To use a web service in a process flow , all you need to do is to point to the WSDL resource and OrionBPM does the rest dynamically and on demand.
Its unique architecture allows customers to extend the engine using custom functions as well as using special application level adaptors. For eg, OrionBPM-SAP Adaptor which allows you to integrate with SAP R/3 environment without any coding/programming.

Sytem Requirements
OrionBPM can be implemented on a plain Windows 2000/2003 server with IIS 5.x or above. It doesn't need any additional third party components or applications to work.
